American Flame Research Committee Pacific Rim Combustion Symposium
The 2010 American Flame Research Committee Pacific Rim Symposium will be held at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa from 26 to 29 September. The papers selected have been contributed from 12 countries and cover a broad range of themes in industrial combustion, energy utilisation and related topics such as boilers, burners and flares. Contributors are universities, independent and government sponsored research and development organizations, equipment manufacturers and industrial engineering groups. Topics vary from combustion kinetic to industrial application case histories.
The AFRC International Symposia are held every 3 or 4 years and are open meetings which provide a unique forum for the exchange of information on applied research and technology for combustion and related topics.
All the necessary information including a draft programme, a registration form and details of accommodation are included in the info pack which is downloadable from this page. Registrations made before 9 August will attract a reduced participation fee.
Information about TOTeM 36 - Industrial Flares (same venue 30 September and 1 October 2010) is also available now on the IFRF Calendar. The Meeting Chairman is Dr. James Seebold.
