On the morning of 17 June 2010, visitors will be offered a guided tour of the Doosan Babcock combustion test facility at Renfrew. 

Details:

Venue: Delegates should meet outside the first floor Conference rooms in the Technology and Engineering Building.  (See downloadable map.) Coffee will be served.

Programmme:
10:30  Company Presentation (All)
11:00 Split into two groups of ~10, alternate between
A.)  Fuels and Materials Laboratories (45 mins)
B.)  Combustion Test Facilities (45 mins)

12:30  Lunch in the first floor Conference Room Suite.  Delegates will be joined at 13:00 by IFRF Executive and Joint Committee members.

Note: Combustion Test Facilities include the 160 kWt Emissions Reduction Test Facility (ERTF) and the 90 MWt Clean Combustion Test Facility (CCTF).

Given that there may well be a shortage of hotel rooms in Glasgow around this time as it coincides with a major turbo power conference, IFRF meeting attendees can ensure they have accommodation by calling the Glynhill Hotel in Renfrew on +44 (0) 141 8865555 and quoting the code BAB15610.

The Glynhill Hotel is the company's preferred hotel and a short taxi ride or 15 min walk from their site. The daily rate for bed and breakfast is £67.  Any rooms not booked by 1 June will be released to the general public.
